It resets your nervous system in about three minutes flat. Cogimyun is a flour dough spirit whose entire deal is wanting to be an onigiri, which is not a thing that can happen, and the show never once treats that as a tragedy. Round two keeps her minding grandpa's apartment block while he's off somewhere, surrounded by neighbors who are also, without exception, made of dough. Nothing escalates. Nobody learns a hard lesson. Ten short episodes of a small wheat creature doing landlord chores and quietly wanting to be rice instead, and somehow that's the joke and the warmth at the same time. It's the kind of thing you put on at 1am when the last show you finished left you hollow, and it just sits with you until you feel fine again.
Cogimyun 2nd is a 2021 slice of life ONA from Gathering.
