Anime Like DRAMAtical Murder OVA: Data_xx_Transitory
This is the disc that answers the question the TV series politely dodged: what happens to Aoba when the route goes wrong. Data_xx_Transitory strips out the plot armor and runs the game's bad endings back to back, one vignette per man, Koujaku, Noiz, Clear, Mink, Ren, each landing exactly where fans of the Nitro+CHiRAL original remember wincing. There's no arc to hold onto and no rescue coming, just short cruel scenes where affection curdles into possession and Scrap can't talk anybody down. The animation is far better than a bundled bonus has any right to be, and the cast plays the tenderness completely straight, which is precisely why it hurts. It's also the only place this adaptation ever gets explicit, so if the broadcast version felt sanded down to nothing, here's your compensation. Each segment ends before you're ready, and you'll still be arguing about which one broke you.
