Anime Like Duel Masters (2017)
This one hands you a talking deck case that will not shut up and dares you to take it seriously, then wins anyway. Decky crosses over from a Creature World tipping off its axis looking for a Duel Master, and what he finds is Joe Kirifuda, a kid whose whole gift is that he can make creatures exist. That is the pitch, and the show leans all the way into how ridiculous it is: 51 episodes of gag timing, loud reaction faces, and duels that are half strategy and half a boy shouting at a plastic box. The reboot energy is the point. It clears the deck of the old Kirifuda legacy and starts over with a protagonist who draws his own answers instead of inheriting them. You come for the card game, you stay because Decky's exasperation is the most relatable thing on screen.
SYNOPSIS
