Episode 0 strips even the pretense away and puts the fairies at a round table to talk, which is honestly what the Dubbing Lake and Room of Spirit and Time segments were always building toward anyway. If you came for animation you left in the first five minutes of season one. If you stayed, you know the specific joy of hearing someone break character because their own bit got too stupid. This is comfort food for people who think polish is overrated.
