This one doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is, and that's exactly why it works. Akiharu walks into a servant-training academy full of girls with a face that reads street thug, and the show mines that gap for twelve episodes of escalating humiliation. Tomomi is the engine: a childhood crush who weaponizes every embarrassing thing she knows about him, and Selnia Iori Flameheart supplies the shrieking blonde ojou-sama energy from the opposite direction. Xebec animates the gags with more snap than the material deserves, which is the actual argument for watching, that and an OP you will have stuck in your head for a week. The plot is a formality and the harem beats hit their marks like clockwork. Come for the fanservice, stay because the timing on the punchlines is genuinely good.
SYNOPSIS
Akiharu shows up at Hakureiryou High School ready to start fresh as a butler student, finally free from being a financial burden on his adoptive family. Problem: he looks like a delinquent thug, and the school is packed with girls who take one look at him and run the other direction. Desperate to prove he's not the violent criminal his appearance suggests, Akiharu throws himself into butler training while wrestling with his reputation.
