Anime Like Timing
It makes you dread a school rooftop. Park Ja-gi spends his whole life shoving his shaman mother's world away, and the film's cruelest joke is that the gift keeps showing up anyway, in dreams where a line of people wait their turn to step off the top of the building. Kang Full's premise gives these characters powers that sound like superhero material and then makes them almost useless: Kim Yeong-tak can freeze time and still cannot fix what a person has already decided about themselves. That gap between seeing the catastrophe and being able to stop it is where the whole thing lives, and it hurts. This is a Korean animated thriller that treats teen suicide as a real emergency rather than a plot engine, so it lands heavier than the mystery framing warns you. You will finish it thinking about who you did not call back.
SYNOPSIS
A Seoul high school stands on the brink of tragedy. Park Ja-gi, a teacher haunted by prophetic nightmares, witnesses a horrifying vision: dozens of students lined up on the school roof, ready to jump. He refuses to rely on his shaman mother's spiritual guidance, but he can't ignore what his dreams are telling him. Something catastrophic is coming, and he has to act. Park isn't alone in his burden. Around the school, others carry strange abilities: a student who can freeze time mid-second, a man trapped in guilt who can rewind ten seconds but couldn't save his own family, and a girl who sees ten minutes into the future. These four misfits become an unlikely alliance, each ability a crucial piece of a puzzle they must solve before the apocalypse hits. Time becomes both their weapon and their prison.
