SYNOPSIS
Torao has a problem: he's a merchant in a world that doesn't respect merchants. When his S-rank adventurer party discovers he's been skimming their funds to court beautiful women, they don't hesitate to kick him out. Now jobless and branded a traitor, Torao faces an unexpected lifeline. The very women he lavished stolen gold on are willing to work with him, and together they hatch an audacious plan to save the world from the Demon Lord. There's just one catch. Their first assignment forces them to loot the corpses of Torao's former party members, slaughtered in a recent catastrophe. The bitter irony isn't lost on anyone. Torao's old teammates want him to know they always considered him family, but apologies come too late. Now he must prove himself alongside inexperienced allies using nothing but his merchant's wit and whatever gold he can scrape together. Survival means growing stronger, building trust with people who have every reason to resent him, and confronting the darkness that claimed his former comrades.
