SYNOPSIS
Yoshika Miyafuji thought she'd left the fighting behind. Back home, she's finally settling into a normal life, preparing for medical school in Europe. But when she returns across the continent with fellow soldier Shizuka Hattori, peace doesn't follow. Strange signals of Neuroi activity start surfacing, and one by one, her former comrades from the 501st Joint Fighter Wing begin appearing from across the world. The scattered unit is being drawn back together whether they're ready or not. When a particularly dangerous Neuroi materializes, Yoshika realizes this isn't a drill or a false alarm. The supernatural creatures are back, and they're coming in force. With her old squad reassembling around her, Yoshika must decide whether to return to the life she desperately wanted to leave behind or trust that her skills and bonds with her fellow witches are exactly what this moment demands. Sometimes the past won't let you go quietly.
