SYNOPSIS
Wakana arrives at Awajima Opera School burning with passion for musical theater, but she quickly learns that talent alone won't carry her to the stage. Around her, four other girls navigate their own relationships with ambition, jealousy, and the grueling path to performance. Kinue pursues mastery through relentless discipline. Emi coasts on natural ability while carrying invisible pressure. Keiko watches Emi's effortless success and feels herself disappearing in comparison. Through each girl's perspective, the series traces how friendship fractures under competition, how self-doubt disguises itself as perfectionism, and how the desire to shine on stage often masks a deeper need to simply be seen. As they prepare for a pivotal production, their private struggles and interconnected insecurities collide with real deadlines and real rejection. What emerges is less about who earns their moment in the spotlight and more about learning to perform for yourself rather than against everyone else.
